Bracelet Size Guide: How to Measure Your Wrist

A beaded bracelet that fits right disappears on the wrist — snug enough not to spin or snag, loose enough to forget you're wearing it. One that fits wrong ends up in a drawer. Here's how to measure your wrist correctly in under a minute, and how bead size changes the fit and look.

How to measure your wrist

  1. Find the spot: just below the wrist bone (toward your hand), where a bracelet naturally sits.
  2. Wrap: use a soft measuring tape. No tape? Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist, mark where it meets, and measure it flat against a ruler.
  3. Snug, not tight: the tape should sit flat against the skin without pressing in.
  4. Add comfort room: add about ½ inch (1.3 cm) to that measurement for a standard comfortable fit. Prefer a looser drape? Add ¾ inch.

Example: a 7-inch wrist + ½ inch = 7.5-inch bracelet — the most common men's size we make.

Does bead size change the fit?

Yes — in two ways. Larger beads have larger holes and stand taller off the wrist, so the same "length" wears slightly smaller as beads get bigger. And they change the look:

Stretch cord: the right way on and off

Our bracelets use strong, flexible elastic cord — no clasp to fumble with. To keep the elastic strong for years, roll the bracelet over your hand rather than pulling it open like a rubber band. Take it off for swimming and showering, and store it flat. More care tips are in our FAQ.

Buying as a gift and don't know their size?

A safe rule: 7.5 inches fits most men, 7 inches fits most women. If the recipient is notably slight or broad-wristed, size down or up half an inch. And if it arrives and doesn't fit, don't worry — we offer size exchanges; just contact us.
